Discover What A 5 Year Old Taught Me About Changing Me Life…

Almost every single day we make decisions that impact our life in ways we never imagined. We decide to hit the gym, go to the grocery store, what to do for dinner, how we are going to get our kids to the game (for those of you that have kids), how we are going to pay for my bills this month, how we are going to pay for college —and the list goes on and on.

As human beings we have to juggle an insane amount from the time we wake up until the time we go to bed. And usually while we are sleeping we continue think non-stop.

It is funny, for the past couple of weeks off and on I have been staying with a 5 year old. Do you know how much time she spends worrying? ABSOLUTELY NONE. She has no concept of time, no worries about money. The only thing she thinks about is school, organizing the next play date, and where she can perform her Michael Jackson dance for everyone.

It is incredible to realize the older we get the more ÇRAP we let bother us and the innocence we had as children is gone. Now don’t get me wrong — I am only 28 years old and I have long healthy life to live. I admit, I’ve been one of those people who lost my child innocence because I got caught up in what car I drove, what house to buy, how much money I make, the clothes I wear, the women I date, and what other people thought about me.

I have spent the past two years becoming aware of the negative thoughts I ALLOWED people to drill in my head. These people have included friends, family, girlfriends, roommates, and business partners. I am finally at a place in my life to tell you that I believe I have rediscovered a bit of the innocence I had when I was 5 years old. I still look at my bank balance everyday and think to myself, “How am I going to pay off those student loans?” or, “I need to make more money.” These thoughts still enter my head because I am driven to succeed in life and I want to supply for my family when I have one to the best of my ability. And let’s face it, I’m human.

I have begun to conquer those negative influences on my mind, body, and soul. I decided it was time to share with others what I have learned over the past couple of years because there are many others there experiencing the same thing I went through. I have moved 3 times in the past 1.5 years because I wanted to shake things up. It is hard and a big pain in the butt but there is one thing I have learned: I sure has HELL love doing what I want to do without anyone else telling me what I can and can’t do.

You are the one who puts food on your table. You are the one who works everyday. You are the one who tucks your kids in bed. You are the one who lays down next to the person who makes you smile everyday. And you are the who that determines whether you are happy or sad throughout the day.

Regardless of how much personal development training, business training, education, or how many hours of Dr. Phil you have watched, you are the one who has to take ACTION to create change in your life. I am talking about in your relationships, business, your work environment, sports, church, charities…etc. You have to live similar to a 5 year old and just not care what anyone else thinks and take the action to create the change you want in life.

When you decided to take that huge risk to change, I am sure you will cry, whine, complain, make up huge excuse, and try to make yourself forget about your problems but guess what they are still there. So don’t fight it, allow yourself to experience the struggles because it will make you stronger.

Most of the people receiving this email are getting it because they are interested in a home based business but haven’t taken the action to start one up. Alternatively, you may have taken the action to start one and you aren’t having the success you hoped for when you started. Well it is time to start thinking like a 5 year old, stop getting distracted by your worries and fears, start living in the moment, and decide what you want out of your life. You can either take action and work your butt off for the next 3-5 years for the life your have dreamed about or go back to sitting in front of the big TV and just do the same thing you are doing right now and never accomplish what you REALLY want out of life.

For the ones who have decided to take action, you have to leave your comfort zone. When that dream opportunity is right in front of your face, make sure you think life a 5 year old and GO GET IT!

Have a great rest of the day!
